Root.pk is a crowdsourced platform for Pakistan land records. Users can browse, contribute, edit, and download public land records including Kheewats, Khasras, and geographic data.

3. Crowdsourced Content

Anyone can add, edit, update, or download information on Root.pk. By contributing, you:

  • Acknowledge your information is deemed accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your contributions
  • Understand that content may be edited or removed by other users or administrators
  • Agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

4. No Guarantees

We cannot guarantee accuracy or currency of information. Records may be outdated, incomplete, or contain errors. Root.pk does not grant or transfer ownership rights - legal ownership is determined by government records and courts only.

Always verify information with official sources (PLRA, Patwari, Board of Revenue) before making legal or financial decisions.

5. Privacy & Data Collection

5.1 Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, email, phone number, CNIC (for verification)
  • Land Records: Kheewat/Khasra data, ownership information you submit
  • Documents: Fards, CNICs, and verification documents you upload
  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, search queries

  • Verify ownership claims

  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

Public land records remain public by law. However, verified users can control additional details:

  • Control family tree visibility
  • Set profile to private or family-only
